I have attempted to start a blog several times on several different subjects. I am going to try one last time. I love to write but making myself sit down everyday to write is something that is a struggle for me. By the time I get home from work, its supper, homework, baths, straighten up, and bed. I am going to focus this time really hard. (cross your fingers and toes for me)
Also starting in January, I am going to attempt to read the Bible in 90 days.

It starts on January 3rd, if anyone would like to join me. I am also going to try to use Mom's Toolbox SOAP. Amy over at Mom's toolbox has a wonderful way to get the most out of your daily reading. All you need is a Bible, a notebook, and a pen. Here's what she says to do:
S: Scripture-Write the ONE scripture that you feel God is using to speak to you in today’s reading
O: Observation-What might He be telling you with that scripture?
A: Application-How can you apply it to your life?
P: Prayer-What is your prayer to ask God in helping you to make that application?
When you are finished, look back over the entry and come up with a short title and write it on the top of the page. Then go back to the front of your journal and log the title. This way, you can easily look back and find the messages God has sent you.
I am a notebook-aholic and a pen-aholic. I have a massive collection of both. So I have that covered, now I just need to gumption to get started. So if anyone would like to start the 90 day challenge with me and let us motivate each other let me know. Brian is also going to do this challenge with me but he isn't the best motivational person in the world.
May God bless you every day,
Dana
Dana it's so funny...I never thought I would end up a stay @ home mom with a desire to home school. It's so amazing that you're seeing the same things!! God bless you! I'm so encouraged and excited!
